Children and Educators are our first and foremost priority when it comes to health and safety. We understand that young children are more susceptible to infections and germs and can fall ill from time to time.
We are proactive in managing transferrable diseases. Children who are sick should be kept home. This is very important if their illness is one that can be passed to other children or Educators, potentially creating an outbreak.
If your child becomes unwell at the centre, you will be notified by an Educator and asked to take your child home. In some circumstances such as HFMD, your child may only be able to return to the service with a doctor’s certificate stating he/she is fit to attend daycare.
If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to speak to your Room Leader or Centre Manager. We have a strict infectious disease control policy that is in line with industry regulations.
