What are your qualifications?
I have a Bachelor of Education specialising in Early childhood and Primary Education.
Why did you become an educator?
I have always had an interest in children and since the age of 8 have wanted to be a teacher. I had some great teachers at primary school and I wanted to be that great teacher for children in my care.
What do you like about being an educator?
love seeing the children in my care grow and develop in to amazing little people. I find that working with this age group is the most rewarding as you are able to develop that love of learning which is so important to have. Children love being able to explore and experiment and I love being able to provide the types of opportunities to allow this learning to take place.
What are your strengths?
I believe my strengths are building amazing relationships with all the children and families in the centre. I believe strong relationships with families is the foundation to children succeeding in early education and in later education.
What are your hobbies or interests?
I love being outdoors so my fiancé and I spend a lot of time hiking, being at the beach or camping.
