What are your qualifications?
Diploma in Children services.
Why did you become an educator?
I have always had a passion for working with children and I became an educator to be able to help children learn and grow into confident, capable individuals.
What do you like about being an educator?
I love that no two days are ever the same. I love the smiles and excitement that greets you each time you walk into a room within the centre, knowing that those children are genuinely happy to see you.
What are your strengths?
My strengths are building good relationships with families and the children within the service.
What are your hobbies or interests?
I love to craft- anything from cross stitching to painting and drawing to making things when I have time.
Share something people might not know about you.
When I was a lot younger, I once appeared as an extra in a UK children’s TV show.
State something about your role that parents may not be aware of/ or you want to highlight.
Apart from administrative duties I also currently look after the Giraffe room within the centre, being responsible for ensuring that the children’s learning and development and interests are extended on.
