Our family-first child care centre has been designed with one thing in mind – the comfort, development, safety and pleasure of your children!
We take pride in offering five generous-sized rooms – each thoughtfully crafted to meet the unique needs of the children, creating a modern, safe and creative space for their exploration and play.
Step outside into four age-appropriate outdoor areas, seamlessly connecting with each room to allow for a free-flowing indoor-outdoor policy. Here, your little ones can enjoy sandy adventures, imaginative play, bike rides and green spaces – all under the protection of ample shade sails, creating a safe and delightful play experience all year round.
Delight in the fresh, delicious, and nutritious meals prepared by our in-house chef in our kitchen, fueling your child’s body and mind for their daily adventures.

At Cuddles Day Care in Merriwa, our Babies Room is a calm, nurturing environment thoughtfully designed to support children in their earliest years. With a cosy, age-appropriate indoor space and direct access to the dedicated Babies outdoor yard, babies are able to safely explore both indoors and outdoors at their own pace.
We follow each child’s individual feeding and sleep routines, creating a secure and comforting environment supported by soft furnishings and gentle sensory experiences. Our experienced educators focus on building strong, trusting relationships with each baby, supporting emotional security and early development. Through sensory play, tummy time, and guided exploration, babies develop motor skills, curiosity, and early social awareness in a loving, responsive setting.
At Cuddles Early Learning in Merriwa, our Toddler Room is an energetic and welcoming space designed to support growing independence and curiosity during this exciting stage of development. The room provides access to both the Babies and Kindy outdoor yards, allowing toddlers to experience varied environments that support their physical development, confidence, and adaptability through our flexible indoor–outdoor play approach.
Inside the classroom, toddlers are encouraged to explore early language, social interaction, and problem-solving skills through hands-on, play-based learning. Storytime, music, movement, and creative experiences are woven into each day, alongside the gentle introduction of early cognitive and communication concepts. Our educators focus on building confidence, independence, and a strong sense of belonging in a safe, stimulating environment where toddlers can thrive.
At Cuddles Childcare Centre in Merriwa, our Kindy program supports children aged 3 to 5 in a spacious, thoughtfully designed learning environment that encourages confidence, curiosity, and school readiness. Through a balance of structured learning experiences, play-based activities, and guided exploration, children are supported in developing their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills in preparation for the transition to school.
Our large Kindy room opens directly onto the dedicated Kindy outdoor yard, providing ample space for active play, group games, and exploration. With room to move, create, and collaborate, children are encouraged to build independence and resilience through both indoor and outdoor learning opportunities. Our experienced and qualified educators foster a warm, engaging atmosphere where children feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn as they take their next big steps toward school.
At Cuddles Childcare Centre in Merriwa, our Lion Room is a dedicated Schoolies and OSHC space designed for children aged 4 to 12 years. As a smaller, welcoming room, it offers a calm and engaging environment where school-aged children can relax, connect with friends, and enjoy a variety of activities before and after the school day.
The room is thoughtfully set up with flexible zones for creative play, group games, quiet homework or reading time, and hands-on activities. Children also enjoy access to two outdoor spaces, the Schoolies Yard and the Top Garden — providing regular opportunities for movement, fresh air, and outdoor play.
As part of our OSHC program, children are safely collected from Merriwa Primary School and Alkimos Baptist College and transported back to the centre. Supported by our experienced educators, the Lion Room fosters independence, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging as a positive extension of the school day.
Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Merriwa
At Cuddles Childcare Centre in Merriwa, our commitment to child care extends beyond the preschool years. We proudly offer comprehensive Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services in Merriwa designed specifically to suit busy families with children aged 4 to 12 years, including Before and After School Care and Vacation Care.
At Cuddles Childcare Centre in Merriwa, our commitment to child care extends beyond the preschool years. We proudly offer comprehensive Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services in Merriwa designed specifically to support busy families with children aged 4 to 12 years. To simplify life for parents, we also provide convenient pick-up and drop-off services to and from selected local primary schools. Our dedicated team delivers engaging and safe before and after school care, ensuring children begin and end their day in a supportive, stimulating environment, enriched with activities that cater to their individual interests and developmental needs.

Alongside our OSHC services, our Vacation Care program transforms school holidays into exciting adventures.
