How long have you been working in the early years?
I’ve been in the industry for 12 years and have worked as a Room Leader in the babies room for 8 years.
What is your favourite part of working at the centre?
Working in a small community and getting to know the families and children.
What qualifications do you hold?
Diploma in Children’s Services.
What are you most passionate about?
Individual children’s personal growth and development.
What are you most proud of at your centre?
The quality design throughout the centre that is customised for each age group. It is a purpose-built centre equipped with an interactive kitchen and outdoor areas that encourage play and imagination.

What inspired you to become an educator?
I have loved working with children even at a young age.
What values are most important to you in your team members?
Being warm and welcoming, knowledgeable about early childhood and education and genuine care for each child.
What is your philosophy about educating children?
I have always believed that nurturing a child is the foundation to their growth and development.
What makes your team/centre special?
The sense of community and family between educators as well as between educators and families.
What was your dream occupation as a child?
A teacher.
What do you do in your free time?
I love spending time with my daughter and going to the beach.
What would you like to tell parents considering your centre?
Children at our service will always be well looked after and their needs will always come first.
